Does anyone even watch the cleveland show

What really bothers me about this show is the following. II noticed in one of the episodes Cleveland's wife I believe told Cleveland something like, "if love you so don't get me wrong, but if you were that way when you were 18 you should have killed yourself.

Do we really need filthy shows like this encouraging suicide along with every other ill and vile concepts and ideas that the shows project?

I think not. In addition to this, the Cleveland Show perpetuates, extends, projects, reinforces, and further places racial and s exist stereotypes.

You have of course one race portrayed as being dumb, sloppy, and ignorant and you have another race being portrayed as countriefied, racist, and simple. It's sad, because this is a cartoon and is obviously bait for kids to pick up on exactly how not to act around others. THE real sad thing is that most kids that watch this will likely want to act just like the characters on the show so they can be cool like all of their friends. What has happened to our culture?

Why are we letting this happen? Can we not at least TRY to stop filth like this from being fed to our children? Shame on us. Shame on us!!!

Adult Written by Niceman78 July 17, This guy went looking for cleveland and called every black guy cleveland and he said they all are n It was in new york. Adult Written by Matt B. December 2, Another adult cartoon but no harsher then Family Guy This is one of the newer animated sitcoms and it has adult stuff like Family Guy. Adult Written by Movieboy April 1, This title contains: Positive role models.

Adult Written by BestPicture January 22, Family Guy lite is fine with low expectations "Family Guy" is my ultimate guilty pleasure, so I just knew I was going to like this show, despite its horrible reviews. Is the humor weird and completely awkward at time? Is it unfunny at times as well? Yes, but so's Family Guy. While it copies its original show's formula, it still can't replicate the success because the characters aren't as strong.

There's nothing really funny about Roberta, just what Cleveland and Donna say about her. You don't have to be like me and stream the entire series I'd watch an episode if I had a spare moment in college but do check out some episodes, they have characters that occasionally did live up to their comedic potential. Adult Written by DuncanDerund September 18, Seth McFarlane Great spin-off with Cleveland. It was a complete waste of time, from beginning to end.

The cultural references were lame, most of the jokes were unfunny and offensive, and all about this show sucked. This show is worthless. I only saw some episodes of this trash and I hated them.

What happened with good, clean comedies like "El Chavo del Ocho"? This show is a dirty shame. Cleveland is another example of those supporting characters who are really powerful or funny when playing the role they were designed for--but not interesting enough to devote an entire spin-off show to. Cleveland is funny, and this show is still pretty watchable overall, but it isn't nearly as good as Family Guy or South Park.

I think MacFarlane has replicated the funny family scenario about enough. We still watch Cleveland Show re-runs occasionally, and it has the Family guy stamp on it, so it is fun, but not really the outrageous hit that the original show provides.

They are funny, but the formula gets a bit redundant. Still a good show, just not great. And by smart, I mean using basic common sense and my own understanding of Black people because many of my relatives are Black! When spoofing, it helps when audience knows what's being made fun of.

This show really makes sense if you know black culture. Family guy is great, but it doesn't make me laugh as hard as Cleveland show or Roger from American dad. Roger smith is the funniest Seth Macfarlane animation. By far! Some say the red neck is dumb! He's dumb! Some fool said The show is offensive?!

Family guy makes fun of Jews all the time. How is this show offensive? And how is that new as all Seth Macfarlane cartoons are crude and offensive?! Weak minds give this show bad reviews. I'm Half Black! I also understand Comedy! If it makes me laugh, it's okay! I saw a family guy clip of an Asian female driver cutting across 5 lanes and all cars exploded and crashed. It was hilarious because my mom is half Chinese and she really can't drive!

But I loathe when weak minded fools ruin things because their small minds can't expand enough to grasp a concept that's presented so greatly. This show is Very accurate to southerners I'm also from the south and black people. Maybe I connect because of those aspects, but I don't think you have to be black or from the south to understand this show.

To all the weak minded, uptight fools bashing this show, watch the re runs on adult swim or internet and realize how wrong you are. And stop being so uptight and learn to laugh. I suppose many haters of this show laugh very hard at Stale stuff like The office and arrested development, but they get confused by REAL comedy! I don't think this review contains any specific details, so no spoilers.

It's a great show. Every episode makes me laugh. Not every family guy or American dad episode makes me laugh. Maybe I'm more reacting to Cleveland show than the other shows, maybe it's actually funnier than the other Macfarlane shows. Open your small minds. Learn something. So The Cleveland Show. I used to like it, but jeez, was that show unfunny and annoying!

The jokes are not that perfect, they're just stupid as hell, Cleveland became an annoying person, and some of the characters are bland and some are very loathsome I'm talking to you, Federline Jones, I hate you so much, you piece of crap! The Cleveland Show is among the worst animated spin-offs I have ever watched and I can't believe I used to like it, but oh boy, Planet Sheen is way god awful than this. Give this one a 4.

Even though I liked American Dad and especially family guy better than The Cleveland show, I was still a little disappointed that it was canceled. I really liked the family. His kids are quirky, but actually pretty smart. As usual Cleveland, the dad, is the dumbest person in the show.

I think my favorite characters are Rollo and Cleveland Jr. Cleveland Jr. All of Seth McFarlane's shows and movies are clever and have random weird humor in them. I am definitely a fan of his stuff and I would definitely Netflix this show if you liked anything else he's done. I never thought I'd say this I normally like everything he does. He's obviously trying to appeal to a demographic that he really can't understand. And frankly, even if he could, this show is terrible.

No matter which way you look at it. This show made me want to change the channel halfway through. Extremely stereotypical. I feel bad for him that its so bad. This show isn't going to last a second season.

Just-Being-Me 5 March OK so who thought it would be a good idea to take the most boring person on Family guy and make a full show about him? I really dislike this show, it is so boring, i don't understand why they made a show about Cleveland. C'mon what were they thinking?.

Why not make one of Quagmire instead or even a Stewie and Brian show that would probably be the best one , a character that is actually funny and fun to watch. Only thing that could make the Cleveland show look a little better is if they make a show all about Joe please don't. I think making this is a waste and the maker should rethink this show and do one about Stewie and Brian instead.

Has to be a 1 out of 10 from me, seems harsh but i really dislike the show. I was never a huge fan of Family guy but at least seasons 3 4 5 and 6 where a watchable I Herod about the Cleveland show I was so looking forward to it I like it at first but now I don't like it you want to know why Lets start off with some reasons 1.

The Cleveland show has to be one of the worst shows are around there is nothing great about the characters are dull unlikeable and thats so who ever rated this show a 5. Very stupid and boring like for god sake it sucks like that stupid fat son of Cleveland. I give this a 1 out of 10 poor. Okay, a lot of us are thinking this right now, so I might as well get this first question out of the way: Of all the characters they could have chosen, why give the spin-off to Cleveland?

In my opinion, he is the least funny of the Family Guy bunch and he's not any funnier in this show. So why Cleveland? But, there are plenty more things wrong with this show than that. Most of the characters are just annoying. And his voice and personality is so irritating that it just sticks in my head like glue. He just makes me want to kick him.

Come on, there's a difference between satirical and just plain annoying. And Tim the Russian Bear why is there always a talking animal? He is just so rude and over exaggerated. There's not much more I can say about him or any of the other characters except for the big reveal: None of them are funny.

Not one character makes me laugh or even gives me a chuckle. They are all so bland and they always force their jokes. In fact, they force everything in this horrible, terrible show. The humor, the voices, the personalities, and it just makes you feel stupid because it's almost as if they think we're too incompetent to pick out the jokes. Okay so just to give you an idea on how annoying this show is, here is the number of times I have mentioned the words "annoying" in this review including the two before : 6 times.

That is six times the annoyance for the viewer to try to sit through. So, in one word, what do I think of this show? That's right, annoying. I hope they take it off the air.

McFarlane: Stick to Family Guy. Good show jamesFilmfan 15 December So much funnier than the new series of Family Guy, can't believe It was cancelled after only four series. I honestly don't know what was going on through Seth Macfarlane's head when he made this, but it showed that Seth no longer has the creativity he once had, and shows he's only in show business for the money.

The premise is that after feeling he has no respect, Cleveland and his son Cleveland Brown Jr. There Cleveland meets his old love, Donna, and her kids Roberta, and Rallo. So after giving it thought Cleveland decides to settle in Virginia and marry Donna.

So OK at first the show doesn't sound too bad at first, but where this show fails is the awful humor, bad characters, and poor stories. Every character on this show are rip offs from either Family Guy or American Dad. Cleveland is like Peter with his stupid ideas, but he at least has some common sense. Roberta is Hayley from American Dad with her love of protecting animals as indicated in one episode of protecting a reindeer.

Cleveland Brown Jr, what did they do to him? He looks like Fat Albert's unfunny awkward cousin. He also looks like Chris from Family Guy. During this time, Fox had yet to formally announce the show's cancelation, but many presumed The Cleveland Show was as good as dead. However, the network allowed it to release the rest of the fourth season, as it would bring the series to a total of 88 episodes -- the typical benchmark for TV syndication.

Surely enough, The Cleveland Show was canceled after Season 4 due to its continuing rating drop. Its last episode aired May 19, While The Cleveland Show never reached huge popularity, the spinoff was good in its own right.
