I'm a scribe and I wanted to replace a glyph. So I made one vanishing powder. OK great, you would think that the next step would be to go to the glyph book and apply the vanishing powder to the glyph you want to replace, right? No such luck. The only thing present in the glyph book is a small icon below where the list on the right should be telling me that I have one vanishing powder.
